A collection of short stories, Rain is the culmination of the frustrated days and sideways nights often encountered whilst working in the world of hospitality and office work in the city.
Written over a two year period where the author was working just about every bar, restaurant, cafe, and event that London spat out, Rain contains the highs, the lows, and the somewhere in-betweens of the life of a 20 something year old with a penchant for words.
Illustrations and prints were done by the ever talented Izzy Mills.

DETECT.IT - the detective of the future, but at what cost?
When the Bureau of Investigations rolled out their AI sleuth, DETECT.IT, they did so to a fanfare of high hopes and grand promises. The lives of those working in Justice would get easier, and the streets of the Nation would be safer.
Five years down the line and detective Jane Doe is doing every she can to cling to the old world.
The promises made to them were false.
The improvements, hollow.
Now making up the vast majority of the remaining detectives, Jane and her partner, John, are ferried to cases across the Nation to gather data for their AI superior, apologise to victims, and make false assurances that results would soon come.
It has become an existence that is taking its toll on them both.
Then comes a case in Jane's childhood haunt, the resort town of Blighton. A place where heads spin in the sun and old wounds open up in the salt air.
A place that sends them both backwards, in order to move forwards.
A fast paced and witty detective mystery that intertwines political conspiracy with a not so distant future.
